PHOENIX (AP)– Steve Nash had 15 points and 15 assists before sitting out the fourth quarter Saturday night, and the Phoenix Suns improved to 10-0 at home with a 121-95 rout of the Washington Wizards.
Amare Stoudemire had 23 points and 14 rebounds and Jason Richardson scored 22 as the Suns remained the only team in the NBA without a home loss. Phoenix has won 19 in a row at home dating to last season.Off to the third-best home start to a season in franchise history, the Suns led by 11 in the first quarter, 18 in the second and 33 in the third. The starters for both sides sat out the fourth.
Gilbert Arenas, who had 45 points and 13 assists as the Wizards snapped a six-game losing streak with a win at Golden State on Friday, scored 22 in 23 minutes but made just 6 of 21 shots.
