Cyberspace offenders to face punishment

TEHRAN – An institute tasked with monitoring contents of websites has issued a communiqué announcing that the directors of websites that violate the social norms and regulations will be prosecuted.
The institute secretariat called on the Internet users, Website directors, and e-publishers to be vigilant about the enemies’ plots.The monitoring body also asked the faithful Iranians to inform on the websites publishing materials in line with the U.S.-funded soft war project against the Islamic Republic.
The announcement describes the obligations of the body as purifying and regulating the Internet with the aim of assuring households and people of cleanness of the cyberspace.
It is expected that families cooperate with the body to create a desirable cyberspace, the institute explained
