Rio focusing on United

Rio Ferdinand insists playing games for Manchester United is his priority rather than worrying about captaining England at the World Cup.

The defender has endured an injury-plagued season and has been restricted to just 12 appearances for United in all competitions.
He made his latest comeback from a back-related problem in Saturday's 1-0 win over Wolves after missing the chance to skipper his country against Egypt last week.
And though Ferdinand is expected to lead the national team at the World Cup in South Africa in the summer, the 31-year-old wants to focus on having a run of games for United.
