TEHRAN - A former Majlis speaker said on Friday that officials and nation must make greater efforts to preserve solidarity in the country by taking martyrs as a model.

In a ceremony held to mark the memory of martyrs in the city of Nour in Mazandaran Province, former Majlis speaker Ali Akbar Nateq Nouri underlined that we should always be faithful to Islam, the Revolution, Imam and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution as four principles.
“Those who believe in these four principles should make effort to preserve the unity of the nation and the values of the revolution and the Islamic system” and set aside major differences, Nateq Nouri noted.
Nateq Nouri said, “Now that Iran has made great foreign policy achievements, the unity and empathy between officials and people should be promoted.”
He also mentioned that it is the duty of all, especially officials, to follow the path of martyrs and combat against corruption
