Bayern Munich duo Arjen Robben and Louis van Gaal have respectively won Germany's Footballer of the Year and Coach of the Year awards. The Bavarian giants excelled last season, winning the Bundesliga and German Cup titles, as well as losing 2-0 to Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final. Robben, who joined Bayern from Real Madrid last summer, was key to Bayern's success, notching an impressive 16 goals in 24 Bundesliga appearances. Bastian Schweinsteiger was runner-up to Robben, while FCR 2001 Duisburg's Inka Grings retained her title as Women's Footballer of the Year.
