HAMEDAN - Esteghlal football team defeated Pas of Hamedan in Iran’s Hazfi Cup in round 32.

Esteghlal beat Pas 4-1 at the Shahid Mofatteh Stadium. Mojtaba Jabbari put Esteghlal into the lead in the 13th minute from Penalty spot. Pas equalized the match just before the interval thanks to Pejman Montazeri who scored an own goal.
Esteghlal defender Hanif Omranzade gave Esteghlal the lead in the 69th minute. Montazeri scored Esteghlal’s third goal with a header in 86th minute and then Mojtaba Jabbari scored the Tehran based fourth goal in the added time.
It’s second big victory for the Blues within four days. They had defeated archrival Persepolis in the Iran Professional League on Friday.
Esteghlal is scheduled to play Shahin of Bushehr in the next stage
