AFARINESH in its editorial discusses the early increase of prices before the implementation of subsidy reform plan. The writer says it is expected a great economic plan to be enforced but the premature rise in prices has concerned both the government and experts. The government announced recently that every increase in prices would not be tolerated and is banned. But despite all warnings of the government, the price of 7 goods out of basic 22 commodities increased in market.
RESALAT in an editorial says Catherine Ashton, High Representative of Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of European Union (EU) has announced the nuclear negotiations will be held with Iran soon. Western countries are pursuing subjects which are not related to the talks. One of the objectives of the Western powers is to prevent Iran from achieving progress in all fields. Aquiring to nuclear knowledge is one of the features of progress. West says abandon these achievements and says go after other sources of progress! They have stopped all spheres of scientific and technological efforts to deprive us of progress through imposition of sanctions.
JOMHURI ESLAMI in its editorial entitled:” A Test for Human Rights Council” writes UN Human Rights Council for the first time investigates human rights violations in the United States which is historic event and unprecedented. The case of the U.S. opened in Geneva with the participation of 300 human rights groups representatives along with more than 100 non-governmental organizations deputies from all around the globe to review the gross violations of human rights by the U.S. According to news reports, the investigations by the UN body take three months and then it would report the results officially. The UN investigations started from the current week and it seems not to be far from the influence of American diplomats. The editorialist argues even though the U.S. violations of human rights traces back to massacre of native Indians, U.S. crimes in Japan and Vietnam and all other U.S. criminal actions throughout the world must not be forgotten
