TEHRAN – Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani has sent a message to Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani congratulating him on his reelection as chairman of Bahrain’s Representatives Council.

The message was submitted by Iran’s Ambassador to Manama, Mahdi Aqa Jafari, on Thursday.
In the message, Larijani has expressed hope for a successful term for Al Dhahrani and other Bahraini representatives.
The Bahraini parliament speaker cited the friendly relations between Iran and Bahrain in various areas, calling for strengthening cooperation and sharing experiences, particularly in the area of parliamentary relationship.
Aqa Jafari thanked Al Dhahrani for taking “positive and smart” stances toward Iran.
