Iran plans to establish rehabilitation center in DRC

TEHRAN – Iran’s Red Crescent Society plans to establish an orthopedic rehabilitation center in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

According to a memorandum of understanding signed between the chairmen of the Red Crescent Society of Iran and the Red Cross of DRC, it was agreed that the Iranian side equip the center with technical orthopedic facilities and train the manpower.
The MOU was signed as Iran’s Red Crescent Society director Abolhassan Faqih visited the African countries of Kenya and DRC. Expediency Council member Hussein Mozafar and MP Mohammad Mahdi Mofateh accompanied Faqih during the visit.
