TEHRAN - MP Masoud Pezeshkain has said a recently-passed regulation asserts that the nuclear deal - named the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) - has to be reviewed by the Majlis.

Pezeshkian, who is a member of the Majlis JCPOA Committee tasked with reviewing the deal, said the committee is currently devising an approach to the deal, Fars reported Sunday.

He said that most Iranian lawmakers approve of the deal, but pointed out that the Majlis is not the only governmental body to have a say about it.

“The Supreme National Security Council and the Supreme Leader, as well as the government, also have parts in the case,” he stated.
