Iran learned its fate in the AFC Futsal Championship Uzbekistan 2016.

Team Iran has been pitted against Iraq, China and Jordan in Group B.
""Our group is tough but it doesn’t matter since we are going to win the title,"" Iran coach Mohammad Nazemosharia said.
Host Uzbekistan was drawn in Group A alongside Lebanon, Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia.

Thailand, Vietnam, Chinese Taipei and Tajikistan are in Group C.

Reigning champion Japan has been drawn against Australia, Malaysia and Qatar in Group D.

The top two teams in each group (eight teams in total) will qualify for the knockout stage and the four winners of the quarter-final will qualify to the semi-final.

The winners of the semi-final will advance to the final and the two losing teams will play in the 3rd/4th placing match. The four losers of the quarter-finals will then feature in play-off matches to determine the 5th placed team.

The top five teams will qualify for the FIFA Futsal World Cup Colombia 2016.
The 14th edition of the AFC Futsal Championship will be held in Uzbekistan from February 10–21, 2016.
