Iranian movies line up for U.S. festival

TEHRAN – A lineup of Iranian short, documentary and feature films will go on screen in various sections of the Livermore Valley Film Festival (LVFF), which will be held in eastern Alameda County, California from May 13 to 15. 

“Blue-Eyed Boy” directed by Masud Soheili, “The Story of a Rainy Night” by Mehdi Fardqaderi, and “A Report about Mina” and “When Sanam Cried” by Fariborz Ahanin are among the movies. 

The lineup also includes promising Iranian filmmaker Saman Hosseinpur’s shorts “1-0”, “Fish” and “Autumn Leaves”.
