TEHRAN – Fourteen Iranian cities, including Tehran and Isfahan, will be playing host to a festival of short films on Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, from May 23 to 25.

Over 100 works will be screened during the Ruhollah Short Film Festival.

The festival seeks to draw the attention of the younger generation of filmmakers whose works mirror the thoughts, lifestyle and works of Imam Khomeini, the organizers announced in a press conference on yesterday.

The festival will be organized by the Institute for the Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini’s Works in collaboration with the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, the Documentary and Experimental Film Center, and the Farabi Cinema Foundation.
