TEHRAN -- Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi issued a statement on Saturday, a day ahead of the 23rd anniversary of the downing of Iran Air Flight 655 by the U.S. battleship Vincennes, in which he commemorated the lives of the victims of the incident. He also wrote that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not fall for the deceptive statements that U.S. officials are making.
