TEHRAN – The World Assembly of Islamic Awakening plans to establish contact groups that would be in touch with Islamic movements around the world, Ali Akbar Velayati announced on Sunday.

The secretariat of the assembly has been tasked with establishing contact groups that would be dispatched to various parts of the world to investigate the issues facing Muslim countries, stated Ali Akbar Velayati, the secretary general of the assembly.
