TEHRAN – The secretary general of the Islamic Coalition Party (Motalefeh), Mohammad Nabi Habibi, told the Mehr News Agency that he has not made his mind yet to register for the parliamentary elections.

Commenting on the decision of other members of the party to register their candidacy, Habibi said the members are still weighing the situation. “We most probably submit our list of candidates (for registration) by Friday,” the party chief added.

120 MPs of the sitting parliament belong to the Islamic Coalition Party. The party was founded in 1963 at the suggestion of Imam Khomeini.
