Iran has ‘exemplary ties’ with Russia: deputy FM

TEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has said that the Islamic Republic is studying the details of the Russian step-by-step proposal with a positive attitude, ISNA reported on Friday.

According to the Russian proposal, declared on July 13, Iran could address questions about its nuclear program and be rewarded with a gradual easing of sanctions. 

He also called Tehran-Moscow ties “exemplary” and said the two countries’ officials hold close dialogue on various issues.
