TEHRAN – The former director of the Foreign Ministry Department for Iranian Expatriates Affairs, Hamid Reza Shakeri-Niasar, has been appointed as the new Iranian ambassador to Sweden, the ministry said in a press release on Saturday.

 

Shakeri-Niasar, who will replace the outgoing ambassador, Rasoul Eslami, plans to travel to Stockholm in the near future.
