TEHRAN -- Iranian photographer Kurosh Adim has been invited to take part in the Dream City, a Tunisian art biennial which will be held in Tunis from September 25 to 30.
He left Tehran for Tunis on Friday to create 15 works that will be put on display at the biennial, the Persian service of ILNA reported on Wednesday.
He also plans to travel across Tunisia to the eastern Tunisian city of Sfax for the works.
Dream City highlights new forms of artistic creations in urban spaces, questioning our new political and societal conditions and striking roots all over the city.
It will focus on contextual art, new architectures and new urban landscapes, mobile art, new urban cultures and other forms of critical and artistic appropriation of the city.
“The artist facing freedom” is this year’s theme, organizers announced on the website of the biennial.
