TEHRAN- Iranian Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs Amir-Hossein Zamaninia after a Sunday meeting with the visiting Lithuanian Deputy Energy Minister Aleksandras Spruogis told Shana news agency that his country is investigating a proposal made by the southern European country about technical cooperation and investment in liquefied natural gas (LNG) sector.

While the European country’s private sector has shown tendency towards buying crude oil and oil products from Iran, there are also some suggestions made by the Lithuanian side about future cooperation in shale oil and shale gas sectors, he said.
