TEHRAN -- A Persian version of English writer George Orwell’s “Down and Out in Paris and London” will be reviewed during a meeting in Tehran.
The session, which will be attended by translator Bahman Daroshafai, will be organized today at 5 p.m. at Mehr-e Taha, a charity center for girls in need of parents.
In “Down and Out in Paris and London”, which is Orwell’s first book published in 1933, he recorded his experiences on the low side of life in the two cities.
Mehr-e Taha is located at 27 Majlesi Alley, off Larestan St., Motahhari Ave.
