What’s in Tehran art galleries

* The shirin Gallery is hosting two exhibitions organized in collaboration with the United Nations office in Tehran and the EN Bank.

The Hall 1 of the gallery is displaying calligraphic paintings by Amir-Ali Izadi and the Hall 2 is showcasing photos by Reza Abedini.

The exhibitions named “Pen-Peace-Pace” will run until September 13 at the gallery located at No. 5, 13th St., Karim Khan Ave.

* An exhibition of photos by children living in Iran’s remote border towns is underway at Did Gallery.

The exhibit entitled “My Childhood” runs until October 7 at the gallery located on the corner of 4th Alley, North Mofatteh St.

* A collection of photos of murals created by street children is on show in exhibition at Ava Gallery.

The exhibit titled “House of Memories” has been organized to raise funds for these children.

The showcase runs until September 14 at the gallery located at No. 9, Ramin Alley, North Khazar St., in the Elahieh neighborhood.

Painting

* Negar Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of paintings by Termeh Musavi.

The exhibit named “Anemus” will run until September 14 at the gallery located at No. 33, Delaram Alley, Roshanai St. in the Qeitarieh neighborhood.

* An exhibition of paintings by Arash Fesharaki is underway at Etemad Gallery.

The exhibit named “The Land of Crystal Bubbles” will run until September 20 at the gallery that can be found at No. 4 Bukan St., off Yaser Ave., in the Niavaran neighborhood.

Gabbeh

* A collection of Gabbehs, a kind of Persian rug, by Shadi Taki is on display in exhibition at Jahan Gallery. 

The exhibit entitled “Shadi’s Gabbehs” will run until September 21 at the gallery located at No. 2169, Vali Asr St.
