TEHRAN – Tehran’s Ambassador to Iraq Hassan Danaeefar said on Saturday that Iran is waiting for the Iraqi government’s response to the visa waiver proposal.

“We have presented our demand for visa waiver (requirements) to the Iraqi government and we are waiting for their response; however, we are pursuing the issue,” he told Tasnim news agency.

The Iraqi officials are also pursuing the issue, he added.
