Iran will participate in Paris Wrestling Tournament 2017 with five representatives.

The competition will be held at the Olympic Center in Paris, France from January 29 to 31.

Olympic gold medallist Hassan Yazdani will partake at the tournament.

Yazdani claimed a gold medal in the 74kg in Olympics after defeating Russian Aniuar Geduev.

Komeil Ghasemi will also participate in the event. The -125kg freestyler won a silver medal in the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Peyman Biabani, Hossein Shahbazi and Amir Reza Amiri will also represent Iran in the competition.
