Iran to face Italy at FIVB Volleyball U-21 Worlds Championship opener
Iran will start the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship with a match against Italy on Friday.
The Iranian team will face the European rival in Pool C in the Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic.
The FIVB Volleyball U-21 World Championship will run from June 23 to July 2 in two cities Brno and Ceske Budejovice.
Iran have been drawn with Italy, Argentina and Ukraine in Pool C.
Pool A features host Czech Republic, Poland, Canada and Morocco.
Russia, Turkey, Cuba and USA are in Pool B and China, Brazil, Egypt and Japan are drawn in Pool D.
The World Championship will be the nineteenth edition of the international volleyball tournament and the world championship for men's national teams under the age of 21, organized by the sport's world governing body, FIVB.
