TEHRAN – British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson had a phone conversation on Tuesday with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif during which Johnson said he intends to visit Iran before the end of the year.

The two sides also exchanged views about the latest developments in the region and the world, with Zarif condemning Saudi Arabia for its recent anti-Iran allegations.

Saudi Arabia's crown prince had accused Tehran of launching a “direct military aggression” against the kingdom that could be an act of war.
