Film museum honored at Iranian Cinematic Research Awards

TEHRAN – The Film Museum of Iran has been honored at the Annual Iranian Cinematic Research Awards at the first edition of the annual event.

The awards ceremony was held on Tuesday at the museum, where several other researchers also were honored, the organizers announced.

The awards have been established by the Cinema Organization of Iran (COI) to honor top research centers, works, articles and theses on cinema.

Zeinab Qazizadeh-Hashemi was honored in the final thesis section, while in the articles section Mohsen Aqai received an award.

In the independent research work section, Mohsen Alavipur and Davud Zameni were honored.

In addition, the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance was honored in the institutes section.
