Three Intl. Conferences to Be Held at Isfahan University

TEHRAN -- Chancellor of Isfahan University Dr.
Houshang Talebi yesterday said that his university will host three international conferences in the new academic year.
Speaking to reporters, Talebi added that the conferences will focus on computer science, English language and literature and statistics. The chancellor noted the conferences are aimed at raising the knowledge of the students.
Referring to the admission of 2,300 new students to Isfahan University, he said girl students comprise some 70 percent of the new students.
Some 14,500 students study at Isfahan University in 99 courses.
