TEHRAN – Iranian shorts “Foruzan” and “Due Day” have been selected to compete in the 3rd edition of the International Inca Imperial Film Festival that opened in the Peruvian capital of Lima on Thursday.

“Foruzan” by Mir Abbas Khosravinejad is competing in the fiction Short Film competition, while “Due Day” by Midia Kiasat is an entry to the Fantastic Short Film category, the organizers have announced.

“Foruzan” tells the story of a widow with two children living in a village. She tries to protect her herd from robbery in the night.

The English-language film “Due Day” depicts a death angel who goes to one of the victims but the story does not go as it is supposed to.
