Italian cinematographer Luca Bigazzi to hold workshops at Fajr festival

TEHRAN – Luca Bigazzi, one of Italy’s most celebrated cinematographers, will hold workshops on the sidelines of the 37th Fajr International Film Festival, the organizers announced on Monday. 

Bigazzi has worked with several world-renowned film directors, including legendary Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami on his 2010 film “Certified Copy”.

He has also collaborated with the filmmakers of independent Italian cinema such as Silvio Soldini, Mario Martone, Felice Farina, Gianni Amelio, Francesca Archibugi, Michele Placido and Paolo Sorrentino. 

Bigazzi has received awards at several festivals, including the Venice Film Festival, Nastro d’Argento Film Awards and David di Donatello Awards.

The 37th Fajr International Film Festival will be held in Tehran from April 18 to 26.
