The second selection comprises the poems by late Iranian poetess Forouq Farrokhzad, translated into Arabic in 121 pages.
The first selection of Iran's contemporary literary works comprised stories by Seyed Mahdi Shojaei which were translated into Arabic by Neda Hosoun and Samir Arshadi. It was highly welcomed by those interested in Persian literature.
The Union of Arab Writers intends to translate into Arabic one selection of Iranian literary works per month in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. The literary works include poems, stories, plays and articles.
