Industry Capable of $500m of Engineering Export

TEHRAN Managing Director of Export Promotion Affairs of the Ministry of Industries Ahmad Qassemi said here Monday that the industrial sector is capable of exporting $500 million of engineering and technical services annually.
He told IRNA that the value of the engineering and technical services export has been estimated at $7 billion in the Third Five-Year Development Plan (March 2000-March 2005).
Qassemi added that Iranian firms are capable of participating in infrastructure projects including roads, urban development as well as various industrial project.
