Iran's Ships No Longer on Control and Security Inspection List

TEHRAN Through the efforts of managers and staff of the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines and following promotion of the security level of the ships, this organization was removed from the ships control and security inspection list.
According to the Monday report of the Shipping Lines' Public Relations Office since the Paris memorandum of understanding, ships with the flag of Islamic Republic of Iran were on the priority list of inspections.
The report said that through the efforts of the Shipping Lines in removing defect and promotion of security, the secretariat of the Paris memorandum of understanding announced that ships of the Islamic Republic of Iran are no longer in the list of countries subject to inspection of their fleets.
Iran was also removed from the black list of Pacific and East Asian memorandum of understanding.
