Iranian Researcher Selected as Head of Group Specializing in Caviar

TEHRAN An Iranian researcher, Mohammad Pourkazemi, has been selected by the International Union for Protection of Species and Nature as head of a group specializing in caviar.
In the group's Second International Congress held in October in Jordan and attended by 2,000 researchers and scientists from across the world, Pourkazemi was again selected as head of the group.
He is chief of International Research Institute of Caviar.
The world expert group in caviar is based in Canada; it is engaged in the protection of caviar throughout in the world.
Pourkazemi holds a doctorate in molecular genetics from the UK, and was previously head of the group for one year. He is currently head of the International Institute of Research in Caviar in Gilan, Iran, established in 1994.
