LONDON American Energy firms whose names will be announced next week are ready to challenge their country's sanctions against Iran by bidding for key energy projects. They are said to be among the "26 bidders that have been short- listed" for phases 9-12 of the development of South Pars, according to London-based Petroleum Argus. The weekly quoted Assadollah Salehi-Forouz, managing director of Iran's Pars and Gas Company, saying that "a number of U.S. companies" are among these bidders.
