Unsteady Elephant Derails Malaysian Train

TEHRAN An elephant which missed its footing derailed part of a train on a Malaysian main line, Bernama news agency said Sunday.
It said the jumbo was climbing a slope when it slipped on reaching the railway tracks and rammed into the last coach of an express.
The elephant was pulled under the coach and killed Saturday evening but none of the passengers was hurt, the State Railway's Regional Manager Ali Hanafiah Bujal was quoted as saying.
The accident happened between Gua Musang and Kuala Krai in the northeastern State of Kelantan.
