TEHRAN Iranian youth squad on Tuesday defeated the Kuwaiti team 3-2.
The 32nd Asian Youth Soccer Championships match was held in Tehran's Shiroudi Stadium.
Kazem Janami opened the scoring for the host side in the 17th minute while his teammate Javad Kazemian made it 2-0 in the 32nd minute.
Fifteen minutes into the second half, Reza Haddadi from Iran added another goal.
Kuwaiti Abdel Aziz al-Ali and Ahmad Kamshad scored for their team in 72nd and 88th minutes.
Janami was recognized as the Player of the Match.
