TEHRAN The following are some of the Iranian films taking part in the Competition Section of the 19th Fajr International Film Festival.

* ****You Are Free****, directed by Mohammad-Ali Talebi. The cast comprise Abdolreza Akbari, Parivash Nazarieh, Ehsan Qassemi, and Siavash Lashgari. The film has been produced by Mohammad-Ali Talebi and Farabi Cinematic Foundation.

The film deals with the life of two juvenile delinquents who are kept at a rehabilitation center.

* ****Delbaran****, directed and produced by Abolfazl Jalili. The film features Kaeim Alizadeh, Rahmatollah Ebrahimi, Hossein Hashemian and Ahmad Mahdavi.

A young Afghan comes to Iran and begins to work in a border teahouse. Later, the government constructs a road beside the teahouse, and the house loses its customers. After the death of the owner of the teahouse, the young Afghan tries to find another job.

* ****Color of Night****, directed by Mohammad-Ali Sajjadi. It features Fariborz Arabnia, La'ya Zangeneh, Homeira Riazi, Farhad Qaemian, Mohammad Abhari, Saghar Azizi and La'ya Bastani. The film has been produced by Dariush Babaeian and Manouchehr Zebardast.

The film focuses on problems facing a young couple.

* ****Under the Moonlight****, directed by Seyed Reza Mirkarimi. The cast include Hossein Parastar, Hamed Rajabi, Mehran Rajabi, Mahmoud Nazar-Alian, Asghar Heidari. The film has been produced by Manouchehr Mohammadi.

Seyed Hassan is a young student at a theological school. The day he is expected to be ordained, something happens.

* ****Iranian Cuisine****, directed and edited by Kianoush Ayyari. All the actors and actresses in this film are locals from the region where the film was shot. The film has been produced by Kianoush Ayyari and Vara Honar Co.

The film is about a banknote stolen from a child. The pickpocket realizes that the banknote is counterfeit and gives it to a girl who sells fruit.
