Iran, EU to Hold Dialogue on Feb 13
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Euro-American Affairs Ali Ahani is scheduled to hold talks with Swedish Deputy Foreign Minister Hans Dulgrin.
Sweden holds the current EU presidency which runs until June 30.
Belgian Deputy Foreign Minister De Boque will also attend the meeting as representative of the incoming EU presidency.
Representatives from the Brussels-based European Commission and Secretariat of the Committee of Ministers of the European Countries will also take part in the dialogue.
The one-day dialogue will focus on bilateral cooperation in the field of trade, energy, investment, transport and campaign against drug trafficking and measures concerning refugees and protection of the environment.
The negotiations will also cover regional issues including the situation in Afghanistan, the Middle East, Central Asia, Caucasus, the Caspian Sea, the Persian Gulf and the Balkans as well as campaign for disarmament and against terrorism.
