TEHRAN The Imam Khomeini Relief Committee announced yesterday that the nationwide Charity Festival will be held on March 9 with the aim of helping the needy.

According to the Public Relations Office of the Relief Committee, during Charity Week, March 5-11, stations from the Relief Committee will be set up all over the country to receive contributions.

The Imam Khomeini Relief Committee has named the days of the Charity Week, as follows: Day of Imam Ali (AS), Relief, Velayat and Leadership; Day of Imam Ali (AS), Relief and Poverty Alleviation; Day of Imam Ali (AS) and Revival of Good Islamic Traditions; Day of Imam Ali (AS) and Helping the Youth; Day of Imam Ali (AS) and Charity Festival; Day of Imam Ali (AS) and Helping the Family; Day of Imam Ali (AS) and Helping the Elderly.
