MUSCAT Oman has told foreigners working illegally in the Persian Gulf Arab state that they have two months to legalize their status or leave without facing punishment, Omani media reported on Monday, cited by Reuters. They quoted social affairs and Labor Minister Amer bin Shwein al-Hosani as saying that workers who fail to legalize their status or leave within eight weeks from April 21 risk "stiff legal proceedings".
