Al-Fahum: Intifada to Continue Till Last Drop of Blood
Al-Fahum, commenting on a meeting of the committee for fighting normalization of ties with the enemy, said, "Along with the Palestinian struggle against the Zionist enemy the follow-up committee has been organized in Ramallah."
"Fortunately, national unity exists between all parties and groups. The problem is the weak economic situation and the fact that youth are being killed and houses are being destroyed by the bombardment. The workers are jobless and trade has stopped. However, the nation is ready to continue the Intifada till the last drop of blood," he added.
On the reactivation of the follow-up committee, Al-Fahum said, "They know that this is the result of the efforts of Bashar al-Asad and the Syrian government. The committee had been active in all Arab states and some Islamic countries, but after the Camp David Accord, the committee's activities wound down and stopped."
"Syria and the Palestine Liberation Organization recently decided to reactivate the committee," Al-Fahum said.
Explaining the importance of the committee's reactivation in regard to the escalation of the Intifada, he said, "Israel's goal is not only usurping Palestine but all of Syria, Jordan and Egypt."
