TEHRAN On the threshold of the 12th demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini, people from all over the world are preparing to pay homage to the great Imam.

According to reporters, more than one thousand foreign visitors have requested permission to participate in the ceremony commemorating the anniversary of the Imam's death. The visitors are participating at their own expense.

The visitors come from many different countries, including Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Syria, Germany, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, India, Turkey, the Philippines, Tajikistan, Georgia and Turkmenistan.
