Official: National Steel Output to Rise by 2m Tons

TEHRAN The national steel production is to be raised by two million by the end of the current Iranian calendar year which started March 21, said the Managing Director of Iran's Steel Production Complex Mostafa Mo'azzenzadeh, on Thursday.
Mo'azzenzadeh said that the national steel output has thus far stood at seven million tons a year.
The steel exports are expected to hit 1.5 million tons from a 1.3 million tons registered for the past Iranian calendar year.
He put the total amount of credit spent on the Khorasan Steel Production Complex at $152 million plus Rls.6 billion.
