AMMAN The draw ceremony of West Asian basketball contests was held here in the presence of participating countries on Saturday.

The teams of Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria are to play in the tournament in Amman sports park between July 10-14.

According to the draw, the national basketball team of Iran will play Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, and Syria respectively.

As the host team, Jordan reserves the right to select his rival for the inauguration clash. Jordan has not yet announced its decision, IRNA reported.

The two top teams of West Asian tournament will cruise into the finals of Asian Men's Basketball Championship, which are to be held in China late September.
