Official Hopes for 99 PC Accuracy in National Statistics

TEHRAN Head of Iran's Statistics Center (ISC) Abbas-Ali Zali said here Tuesday that the statistics released by the ISC enjoy a 95 correct accuracy now and sufficient investment should be made to raise the accuracy percentage to 99.

Zali told IRNA that 100 statistical projects have to be implemented in various fields to address developmental needs of the society .

He added that his center is currently busy implementing 20 to 30 statistical projects in the fields of industry, mining, agriculture, commerce, housing and construction, infrastructure and servicing.
