Daily's Ban Removed
*****Hambastegi****** was banned on August 8, 2001, on the demand of the Head of Tehran Justice Department and according to the Articles 12 and 13 of the law on security measures.
Issuing an announcement on Sunday the Tehran Justice Department said that Ebrahimbai Salami has attended the Branch 1410 of Tehran Public Court and after undergoing preliminary investigations confessed to the insulting articles published in the daily's 238th issue and called it unintentional mistake.
Also, the License Holder of ****Hambastegi****, Mohammad Reza Rah Chamani, in a letter to the head of the Judiciary said that the article that was published in the daily has been the result of reporters' negligence and the content is in no way confirmed by the officials and members of the Central Council of Solidarity Party and also the daily.
According to the Public Relations Office, the Judiciary chief answered the letter saying that in the news report carried by the daily earlier this month, the high-ranking authorities of the government were insulted. However, considering what has been mentioned in the letter of the Central Council of the Solidarity Party, their admitted negligence and mistake would be accepted.
