TEHRAN -- The Association of Semnan Clerics and Shahroud's Friday prayer leader have written a letter to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, in support of Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi. Earlier, some Majlis deputies called for an investigation into Shahroudi's nationality.
