TEHRAN Majlis Women Fraction nominated Shahrbanou Amani, Uroumieh representative in Majlis, for the post of Parliament's presiding board cultural charge de affair.

It is for the first time that a woman is nominated for such a post. Tehran representative in Majlis, Ahmad Bourqani, is in charge of the post now.

Soheila Jolodarzadeh, the presiding board secretary, has been working for two years in this responsibility.

Majlis presiding board election held every year in June.
