Iranian Children Win Japanese Inohikari Painting Competition
According to the Public Relations Office of the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (CIDCYA), Shamimeh Daqaqi (6 years old) from Tehran received the gold medal and the honorary diploma in the 9th Inohikari competition.
Saghar Mazloumzadeh from Tehran and Shabnam Shiri from Malayer also received the honorary diplomas.
Some 60 countries attended the 9th competition which was held with the title of nature and establishing friendship among the nations.
The CIDCYA had sent 152 paintings of its members to the competition.
Inohikari is a non-profitable institute which is a member of Japanese Cooperative and Agricultural Organization, and is active in the field of developing culture among the rural regions through cultural programs and publishing books and magazines.
